About Us
Rooted in Community Philanthropy
Founded in 1989, the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley (HFSV) brings together thought leaders, corporate supporters and inspiring, on-the-ground advocates dedicated to improving the lives and futures of Latinos in the region. By forging alliances with and among these regional forces, we stand together to make a difference where we live.
Our Focus
Our work began with the first Hispanic Foundation Ball in 1990. Three decades later, this annual and ever-growing gala celebrates Hispanic philanthropy, raises awareness of issues impacting the Latino community, and honors change-making volunteerism.
Over the years, we have broadened our reach by innovating programs focused on educational excellence and leadership development among Silicon Valley Latino youth, including how to empower and engage their families.
