Clara is committed to strengthening nonprofit organizations to drive meaningful social change. She has held leadership roles across the sector, including Chief Development Officer, Board Member, Major Gifts Officer, Programs Director, and Educator—contributing to efforts in education, economic opportunity, poverty alleviation, and homelessness.
As Chief Development & Operations Officer at the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley, she leads fundraising and operational strategies to advance educational and career outcomes in the Hispanic community. Her previous experience includes roles at LifeMoves, Vascular Cures, the Pacific Stroke Association, and Project Baobab.
Clara also contributes to philanthropic and community initiatives through board and advisory roles with local organizations and funds. She is a partner and Board member at SV2 – The Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund, the Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation, and has also served on the Board of Bullis Charter School, the Development Advisory Committee for Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, and the Advisory Board for the Mountain View Solidarity Fund.
She holds a Master’s in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management from NYU’s Wagner School.
