Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE) is an organization that provides a linguistically and culturally responsive, evidence-based 8 week program for parents to engage, empower, and transform families to actively engage in their children’s education and strengthen family-school collaboration.
Parent classes focus on a range of topics such as STEM-focused curriculum that builds an understanding of college and career opportunities in STEM, how to navigate the school system with access to relevant information regarding the college admission process, and a social-emotional learning curriculum and its impact on academic success.
Through The HFSV’s partnership with PIQE, we have supported 569 parents in 2021 alone!
