The Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley stands firmly against policies and actions that harm our Latino community, including the mass deportation of law-abiding undocumented immigrants as proposed by President Trump.
We believe that these deportations threaten the fabric of our community and undermine the contributions of millions of individuals who play a vital role in the economic, social, and cultural strength of our nation. Families are torn apart, communities are destabilized, and the significant economic contributions of undocumented workers—particularly in industries critical to our national prosperity—are severely disrupted.
Undocumented immigrants are not just numbers; they are parents, students, entrepreneurs, and essential workers who contribute to our society in meaningful and measurable ways. The forced removal of individuals who have abided by the law, apart from their immigration status, betrays the values of fairness and opportunity that define America.
We advocate for a compassionate and comprehensive approach to immigration reform—one that acknowledges the humanity of all individuals, prioritizes family unity, and provides pathways to legal status for those contributing to our communities.
The Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley reaffirms its commitment to protecting and empowering the Latino community. We will continue to work with local, state, and national partners to oppose harmful immigration policies and to promote solutions that reflect the ideals of equity, opportunity, and respect for all.
