The Latinx Scholar Chat is a series of interviews with our Latinos in Technology Scholarship recipients and President and CEO of the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley, Ron Gonzales. The interview series dives deep into our scholars’ lives and unveils their aspirations and their college journey, one conversation at a time.
In this video, we welcome Brian Carrozza, a scholarship recipient from San Jose State University. Starting his pursuit for an undergraduate degree at the age of 33 and deciding to become homeless to advance his education, Brian courageously shares his perspective about his education process. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a love for data science, Brian sets his sights in pursuing a Ph.D. in the future.
