Dear HFSV Friend,
The reality of the COVID-19 pandemic is that in recent weeks we’ve seen an increase in cases related to the Delta variant. With the health of our Latino community foremost in our minds and hearts, the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley has decided to not hold a hybrid annual celebration on October 16th, but instead to host a 100% Virtual Hispanic Foundation Celebration as we did last year.
Our organization is led and managed by Latinos and all of us care deeply for our community. This is why we need you now more than ever to support this event. The Hispanic Foundation is counting on you to support us by taking action today and reserving your virtual seat for Saturday, October 16th.
- Live Streaming – View from the comfort of your home. Buy your tickets for the live streaming portion here.
- Host a Watch Party by clicking here. Even though we cannnot gather as a large group, you can still support us by hosting a few friends and telling them about our work.
- Listen to amazing stories of resilience from our Latinos in Technology Scholars and the families served at the Hispanic Foundation College Success Program.
- Attend for the opportunity to win two First-Class Alaska Airlines tickets.
The Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley grew out of a special event, the Hispanic Foundation Ball which took place for the first time in 1990. For the last 32 years, this annual event has not only been the signature event for the Hispanic community of Silicon Valley to convene and celebrate successes, but also a crucial source of funding for the organization. As much as we are mourning the many lives lost due to the pandemic, the Latinx Community of Silicon Valley is resilient, has grit, and will move forward. At this year’s annual event we plan to celebrate exactly that! To learn more about the Hispanic Foundation Celebration click here.
Until next time,
Thank you,
