Thank you for your interest in volunteering at our 35th Annual Hispanic Foundation Ball!

This annual gala, attended by over 700 people, has been a joyous occasion for 35 years, bringing together the Silicon Valley community to commemorate our collective achievements and raise crucial funds for our Foundation’s mission to improve the lives and futures of Latinos in the region.

Volunteers at the Ball assist with light setup and takedown, greet guests, check them in as they arrive, serve as Fund-a-Need spotters, and return items to the volunteer room at the end of the program, among other tasks. Please note that participation as a volunteer will require using your smartphone device.

A light dinner is provided at around 4 p.m. Volunteers are welcome to enjoy the dancing portion of the event afterward.

After completing the form below, you will receive an email with information about the next steps, virtual training, and important details in preparation for the Ball.

Date: Saturday, October 19th, 2024

This is the event program:

5:30-7:00 pm – Check-in and No-Host Cocktail Reception

7:00-8:00 pm – Dinner at the Imperial Ballroom

8:00-9:00 pm – Latinos in Technology Presentations, Fund a Need, and Raffle

9:00-11:30 pm – Dancing

Volunteering Time: Varies by Volunteer Assignment – A minimum of 3 hours in the 4 pm to 10 pm timeframe

Where: Signia by Hilton, 170 South Market Street, San Jose, CA 95113

HFB Attire: The Hispanic Foundation Ball is a black tie formal event. We are asking all volunteers to wear black (men black suit or tux; women long black formal dress). Please wear comfortable shoes as you will be walking/standing for some periods of time.
