We are thrilled to share the success of our Second Annual Community Day at The Tech Interactive, where over 230 Silicon Valley Latino families came together to enjoy immersive STEM activities and explore cutting-edge technology. In partnership with The Tech Interactive, this event was a vibrant celebration of learning, curiosity, and community.
Families engaged in various hands-on STEM activities, exploring everything from robotics to virtual reality. These interactive experiences ignited a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics among participants of all ages. The event was a testament to the power of hands-on learning and the importance of making STEM accessible and exciting for everyone.
A highlight of the day was our fantastic panel discussion featuring accomplished HFSV alums who shared their insights and experiences in the technology field. We extend our deepest gratitude to Giselle Alvarez, Latinos in Technology Scholar alumni and AI company co-founder of Sanitas AI, and Alejandra Acosta, Latino Board Leadership Academy Fellow and Director of Knowledge Sector at Discourse Analytics, for sharing your knowledge with our families.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this event possible, from our dedicated team and volunteers to our inspiring speakers and enthusiastic participants. The support of our funders and volunteers and involvement are crucial to our efforts to create a more inclusive and equitable future.
