At the Hispanic Foundation, we empower latinx families to create a roadmap towards a college-oriented future for their children by connecting them to essential resources and programs.
For the first time, we hosted a Cash for College Workshop! Our students had the opportunity to receive one-on-one support to start, complete, and answer questions about their applications.
With the support of Sara Beth Brooks from the California Student Aid Commission and Devan Mhisani McFadden from the East Bay Consortium, we provided information about Financial Aid and CA Dream Act application process to 22 high school and college students.
