Steven Martinez is a retired financial services executive with over 40 years in the banking industry. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President and Business Banking Regional Manager with BMO Bank (formerly Bank of the West). In that role as Regional Manager, his team of Relationship Managers was responsible for meeting the financial needs of business clients in the San Francisco Bay area. He has worked for U.S. Bank as a District Manager in Silicon Valley and for Citibank in their Commercial Banking and Business Banking groups in New York and San Francisco. Steve developed, led, and presented the “Access to Capital” segment with Silicon Valley SCORE at their monthly “Business Essentials” workshop.

As an active community member, Steve served on the Board of Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley, having recently termed out, and still active on their Finance Committee. He also served on the Advisory Board of Working Solutions. Additional volunteer activities have included working with Special Olympics, Junior Achievement, Second Harvest, TeenForce, Habitat for Humanity, GLIDE Memorial, and Pride Parade. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Southern California.
